Fish Press: combine the best of two fish

Fish Press merges two fish so traits can consolidate onto a single specimen. Use it when you have two partial builds that would be stronger together. Always compare results with Paint & Compare before you commit rare fish.

Hatchery: roll until the RNG smiles

Hatchery breeding introduces randomness: offspring inherit traits from parents, but not always in the layout you want. Keep a cheap breeding line so you are not burning your best earners while chasing rare patterns or colors.

Trait Injection: skip the last mile of RNG

Trait Injection applies traits directly. Save it for high-value finishers—for example, adding Glow to an already large, rare-pattern fish.
